Easy Delicious Grilled Pineapple Recipe

Pineapple tastes so much more delicious when it has been grilled!
- 1 large ripe golden pineapple peeled, cored and cut into slices
- olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- Prepare a charcoal grill or gas grill. (note we also cook them in a cast iron grill on the stovetop when outdoor cooking isn't in the plan).
- Brush the pineapple wedges lightly with the olive oil and place them on the grill. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side until nicely charred and lightly colored.
- Remove to a serving plate, drizzle with honey and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Note: If fresh pineapple isn't available, you can also use canned pineapple slices. In this case they are already syrupy so there is no need to add honey after. It is also difficult to brush these with oil, so spray the cooking surface with cooking spray instead.
