  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2.5 ounces dried sliced beef
  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in milk.
  4. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
  5. Reduce the heat.
  6. Tear beef into shreds and add to cream sauce. Heat through.
