Banana Mango Smoothie Recipe
This smoothie is so creamy and delicious it’s almost more like drinking a banana milk shake. But don’t be fooled. This Banana Mango Smoothie is a nutrient powerhouse that is great for your digestive system.
Mangos contain enzymes that aid digestion and probiotics that help the good bacteria in your gut. It also contains fiber. Then the yogurt provides you with the probiotics you also need for a healthy digestive system. We don’t like to really think or talk about our digestive system much, but if it isn’t working properly all of our other efforts to improve our health through diet and nutrition won’t be as effective.

Delicious Banana Mango Smoothie that aids your digestion and helps heal your digestive system
- 1 cup sliced mango
- 1 or 2 bananas
- 5 oz Vanilla or Coconut Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup coconut or almond milk
- pinch cinnamon
- 1/4 cup quinoa or flax seed as a nutrient booster, optional
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend 60 seconds or longer until smooth.
Pour into glass, sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top to garnish.
Notes: If using quinoa, you can pre soften it by soaking it in water overnight to give your smoothie a smoother texture.
